Best of Beauty - Nails

Good Morning Fashionistas, I am SO glad that all of you enjoyed my posting yesterday. It was personal and straight from the heart! I promise to have at least one "real talk" posting per week. Thanks again for reading my blog, enjoying my blog, and passing the blog info on to others.

Today we will be discussing the attributes that we look for in nail polish - compatibility, won't crack under pressure, and will stick around longer than a week. (you get more out of your polish than a one night stand! lol)

As per a poll taken by the Beauty Experts at Allure, here at the winners (many which I have tried myself):

Best Dark Polish
Yves Saint Laurent Nail Lacquer in Dark Tulip - violet deep enough to be trendy, but it's still appealingly feminine.

Best Nude
Rescue Beauty Lounge Nail Polish in Sheer Nude - how your nails would look if you never washed a dish, typed an email, or dug around in your purse but a bit better, lol

Best Bright
OPI Nail Lacquer in Cajun Shrimp - a hot coral that is flattering on ALL skin tones (GREAT pedicure color even though the name does suck!)

Best Metallic
Lippmann Collection Nail Color in Hit Me With Your Best Shot - gunmetal color with a high sheen but no glitter particles so it doesn't look tacky and "I'm 13-ish"!!!

Best Pink
Essie Nail Polish in Mademoiselle - sophisticated baby pink, I have been using this for YEARS ladies

Best Red
Essie Nail Polish in Really Red - with orange undertones so it compliments warm skin tones

OPI SkipChip Nail Lacquer Chip Preventor - I own this ladies and it is AWESOME but not for dry or brittle nails (and for a limited time it comes with a FREE, full size Cabernet for the Lady polish which is a cool, shimmery Burgundy color)

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Diamond Shine Base + Top Coat - shiny as they come thanks to real diamond dust (must apply one coat over polish every other day to extend manicures)

Cuticle Cream
Creative Nail Design SolarBalm - has all the hydration of the original oil in a compact solid (no more spills, THANK GOD)

Nail-Polish Remover
Cutex Essentials Care One Step Nail Polish Remover Pads - erases two hands' worth of polish fast (with no spills either)

Until tomorrow - Smooches, Quick Claps, and Much Love-
