Splurge vs Bargain

The maxi dress is on the comeback for spring and though they may not be the favorite of oh, say, petite fashionistas, they're still a nice change from the hemlines that force us to seriously consider knee liposuction (well, almost). As usual, we have the bottom line in mind, so we've picked two options -- equally current with their bold, orange floral patterns -- but only one will make a serious dent in our spring wardrobe budget.

So which is which?

On the top, the high priced option, a Joie "Roll the Dice" Floral Maxi Dress, $324 at Bloomingdale's, meaning our more budget-friendly option is on the bottom, $49.50 at Delia's.
