Beauty 2008: Your Master Plan

A simple, 5-point approach to getting it right in the new year and beyond!

1. Find your signature scent.
Take a scent and sample it for the day to see if it reacts well with your body chemistry and if
t feels right. Remember, you want to smell like yourself and NOT a trend.

2. Schedule your first cancer screening.
Many of us know the statistics: skin cancer is the most common cancer in the US and early
detection saves lives! Book and appointment with your dermatologist for a head-to-toe
check, every square inch of your skin will be examined - behind your ears, inside your mouth, eyelids, nail beds, bottoms of feet, and more!

3. Pick a perfect shade of foundation.
A natural looking base is key because it sets the stage for the rest of your makeup. Pinpoint
your best match by testing colors on your jawline and throat, not your face, wrist, or hand.

4. De-clutter your makeup bag.
If you haven't used a product or tool in a month, TOSS IT! Keep these essentials: concealer,
pressed power, mascara, black eyeliner, and a mini eyelash curler.

5. Commit to a skincare regimen.
The secret to seeing a difference in how your skin looks is patience.....long-term results do
NOT happen overnight and swapping products too frequently can cause inflammation.
