I’ve come to realize that I dress from my feet up, a shoe is always selected first (based on mood, season, and occasion)…the rest just seems to fall into place! I’ve tried to select a blouse or a few bangles first but then I find myself faced with more shoe options than I even care to admit that would compliment my ensemble. *blink* Clearly you can see how a girl might end up in a pickle that way! I digress, feet up is the way that I roll.



The black and yellow stripped whipsnake box clutch is a power piece by Alexander McQueen. The color accent and the silver-tone skull and crystal-studded-knuckled-duster clasp SCREAMS edgy! A small yet powerful fashion punch, all women needs a “wild card” in her wardrobe. The sharp forma cut out sandals are by Miu Miu, edgy with a twist of elegance making this shoe multi-functional! It’s certainly edgy enough to play with the McQueen clutch but elegant enough to be paired with a maxi-dress for a Sunday afternoon brunch.


I love bold pieces that can carry an outfit – any outfit. This HAUTE duo would even make dark skinny jeans and a basic white tee deliciously fabulous! OHH EMM GEE, I am in love!!! I totally LOVE the Tide To Go Pen and am over the moon that they have come out with the "Mini". (the regular one is too long to fit in my makeup bag)

Ladies, this is a MUST HAVE at all times....no need to ask for club soda when you can instantly remove stains - talk about instant satisfaction! I have removed everything from red wine to lip gloss with my Tide Pen along with BBQ sauce of the shirts of little ones at a summer cookout.

Gucci's Annual Campaign to Benefit UNICEF

This year Gucci celebrates five years of giving to UNICEF by commissioning author and illustrator Michael Roberts to create a sequel to his 2004 children's book Snowman in Paradise called Snowman in Africa. This book will be available in Gucci stores and on it;s official website from November 16th - December 31st with a $50, all proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

MORE exciting than the book are the two medium-sized Joy handbags designed by Creative Director Frida Gianni!!! I personally must have the one with the cute little elephants and foliage, it is being added to my Christmas list ASAP! LOL

The bags retail for $690/each, 25% of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

This Fall, we are going to see alot of lace, ruffles, pleats, and other romantic touches on shoes. My favorite is lace because it's very 80's rock (which you KNOW a Diva like me LOVES!!).....so here is the shoe that I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want - Christian Louboutin Ambro Leopard Lace Peep-Toe Pump, $825 (Exhibit A).

Being that $825 is outta my league, I have decided that I can get my "lace-fix" from....

Yes yessss, CL (Christian Louboutin) does make the most beautiful lace shoes but these Carrielee Pumps by Guess are pretty darn haute!!! AND with a $99 price tag, they are almost a no brainer.

Carlos Falchi for Target (get excited NOW)

Accessories designer Carlos Falchi will create a line of handbags for Target. It's a surprising collaboration, since Falchi's work embodies all that is fabulous in a handbag — python, crocodile ; if it's expensive and you can make a purse out of it, Falchi has probably done it. From his $875 python clutch at Saks to his FAB doctor bag at Neiman;s for $4,995!

But his bags for Target will be made of faux snakeskin and will come in jewel tones like plum and teal with contrasting shades of brown, black, and gray - YUMMY!

If you experience back pain from your handbag, it's too heavy. But you knew that, right?

As a general rule, your bag should not weigh more than 10 percent of your body weight, which means thirteen pounds if you're 130, but who the hell is 130 pounds these days?!?! LOL (skinny bitches) That seems like such an impossibly tiny number when we're talking about fitting our entire lives into one bag. Especially now, when totes are huge and hot — just look at the new styles from Louis Vuitton, large enough to fit a small animal and a new pair of shoes (without touching each other, mind you). So what if you end up with a dead arm, pinched nerves, or a hump-back. No pain, no gain.

I saw this quote in a recent news magazine (yup that would be Us Weekly) from Scarlett Johansson about how girls like giant bags because they make them look more petite. It's a theory we've all heard before--oversize bags are the new Little Black Dress, they make you look like you've shed the pounds even when you've been eating soft-serve twice a day (Seriously, I have.....HELLO, it's summer).
