The treat: A small glass of eggnog (3/4 cup, 257 calories)

Try this: Go sledding on a snowy hill for 32 minutes.

Or this: Head to the mall for 45 minutes of pre-shopping power walking.

Or this: Do a 27-minute mini –circuit: Set treadmill to 7.5-percent incline and walk at

3.5 mph for 4 minutes, then lower treadmill and run at 6 mph for 5 minutes; repeat the sequence 2 more times.

2009 Holiday Gift Giving Guide

My mission this year was to provide my fellow Recessionistas with affordable but fabulous Holiday gift ideas.....but I had NO idea that I would find such super fabulous stuff!!!!

Sonia Kashuk reinvented the budget brush market and made drugstore brushes cool! This Holiday Season she is taking that budget luxe philosophy a step further by
introducing a line with twisted faux-silver handles that won't break the bank.

The six-piece limited edition Twist of Fate Brush Set ($20, on sale now at Target), Sonia's premium collection of brushes for the Holidays, joins five limited edition Holiday makeup palettes and accessories.

2009 Holiday Gift Giving Guide

Has anyone else been drooling over the Chico's commercials this Holiday season?!? Who knew that Chico's was this fashionable.....cause I sure did not!

The commercials had me interested so I visited the site - I AM IN LOVE!
At the top of my 2009 Holiday Gift Giving Guide is the Parania Necklace ($58). Described as:

"An eye-catching, hand-beaded design with the look of scalloped lace--an airy statement style with a ladylike touch."

I can imagine this unique piece paired with numerous outfits in my own closet!

For more gift ideas, visit Chico's.

Gucci's Annual Campaign to Benefit UNICEF

This year Gucci celebrates five years of giving to UNICEF by commissioning author and illustrator Michael Roberts to create a sequel to his 2004 children's book Snowman in Paradise called Snowman in Africa. This book will be available in Gucci stores and on it;s official website from November 16th - December 31st with a $50, all proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

MORE exciting than the book are the two medium-sized Joy handbags designed by Creative Director Frida Gianni!!! I personally must have the one with the cute little elephants and foliage, it is being added to my Christmas list ASAP! LOL

The bags retail for $690/each, 25% of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

Want Some Seamen?

It's like Christmas in May Divas.....it's FLEET WEEK in New York, God Bless America!

Pull out your low cut dresses and short shorts, expensive panties, your diaphram, and some SICK pumps - the boys are back in town! (get excited) I don't even do boys and the site of the young, dapper, tight ab saliors in crsip white uniforms looking all nautical makes me a bit moist! lol

I must admit that I do not know what exactly happens during Fleet Week or why there even is a Fleet Week, yall can google it - back to the boys! lol With 13 US and Canadian ships docking (that is the correct word right, docking/parking/pulling in), there will be plenty of EYE CANDY for us all to see!!! (there are some servicewomen so I might get lucky too)

Anywho, get ready for the boy toys who serve our nation along with LOTS of liquor and some hot parties in the city's bars and lounges.
